Capybara Budget ("the App") is a personal finance tracking app developed by Capybara Labs. This Privacy Policy explains how we handle information when you use our App.

We are committed to protecting your privacy. This App is designed to work entirely offline — your data never leaves your device.

2. Information We Do NOT Collect

We do not collect, store, or transmit:

• Your name or personal identity information
• Financial data, account balances, or transactions
• Location data
• Device identifiers or advertising IDs
• Usage analytics or crash reports
• Email addresses or contact information

3. Data Storage

All data you enter into Capybara Budget — including transactions, account balances, budgets, savings goals, and settings — is stored locally on your device using AsyncStorage.

This data is never uploaded to any server, cloud service, or third party. Uninstalling the App permanently deletes all stored data.

4. In-App Purchases

Capybara Budget offers a one-time Premium upgrade (₱150) that unlocks additional features. Payment is processed entirely through Google Play. We do not handle, store, or have access to any payment or billing information.

5. Permissions

Capybara Budget requests the following device permissions:

• Biometric / Face ID — optional, used only to protect access to your app data locally. No biometric data is collected or transmitted.

No other permissions are requested.

6. Third-Party Services

Capybara Budget does not integrate with any third-party analytics, advertising, or tracking services. The App does not display advertisements.

7. Children's Privacy

Capybara Budget is not directed at children under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect any information from children. Since no data is collected from any user, no special measures are required beyond our standard no-collection policy.

8. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Any changes will be posted on this page with an updated effective date. Continued use of the App after changes constitutes your acceptance of the updated policy.
